I recently took a Thermals/XC course with Marko at Flumen - and recommend the school wholeheartedly. I always felt like I was in good hands -- both in the air and in theory class. With regards to theory - Marko is fabulous at explaining complex concepts in a simple, intuitive way. He understands the crux of your questions and answers them concisely. I recently took Marko's Cross Country course and it was fantastic! I learned so much about understanding weather charts, reading the local winds, planning a cross-country flight, and flying more efficiently to go further. I like the way Marko coaches. As he assesses how his students fly, he gives simple instructions for how we can fly better or launch better or land better or whatever. Several months ago, a paragliding pilot friend recommended Marko extensively to me, as I wanted to start the adventure in this sport. My friend had already taken courses with him. We went to Valle de Bravo where I joined Marko's student group on a ride to the take-off. Once there, Marko began his morning meteorology briefing.   Well once again the Croatia/Slovenia/Austria 2019 XC tour with FLUMEN exceeded all expectations and greatly increased my flying skills and confidence in the air. For those of you who doubted and canceled at the last minute...uufff...you guys REALLY MISSED OUT!
